Hi there!
My name is Hannah Bunting and I am the 4 Green classroom teacher. I will endeavour to use this blog to communicate as much information to parents as possible, but please feel free to email me at hbunting@bne.catholic.edu.au if you would prefer to keep in touch that way. You can catch me in my classroom almost every afternoon, so feel free to pop in! Mornings however, are a busy time for teachers, so you may not always be able to catch me in the classroom before school. You are, of course, always welcome to arrange an appointment if there is something that you would like to discuss. I look forward to working with your child and hope to meet you soon!

Welcome to 2015,
My name is Dean Mitchell, I recently took a leave of absence from St Bernardine’s in 2014 to broaden my experiences in Victoria. It was an eye opening opportunity and I am excited to be able to use what I learnt in my travels with my future students.
I have a keen interest in all areas of the students schooling lives especially sports. It is my goal to challenge the students with new concepts and activities, while teaching them to be persistent when things are tough. I still have many new things to learn from the teachers and students of St Bernardine’s, I do this with an open mind and willingness to learn.
School is a very busy place and I am available most afternoons and can be found in my classroom if you need to see me. If you want to get in touch my email is dmitchell@bne.catholic.edu.au I check my emails daily and will respond in a timely manner.

I look forward to educating the young minds in my care throughout 2015 and hope to teach them new ways to approach difficult problems.
Hello to you all. I am Mrs Jansen.
I extend a big welcome to the Year 4 students and parents of 2015. I trust that you and your child will enjoy being part of our community this year. I have the privilege of teaching 4 Maroon.
I have a great love of children and how they learn. I see it as my responsibility to present your child with learning opportunities that engage them and make them think so that they can grow and improve their knowledge and skills.
I have been teaching in the Logan area for over 30 years. Apart from a six month stint in the UK in 2004. It was pleasing to learn that children are not that different on the other side of the world. They all want to learn and have fun and need to be taught how to adjust their behaviour to different situations.
I believe that all children need to be empowered to take control of their behaviour, learning and friendship choices. It is up to the adults in their lives to show them by example how this is done. I run a classroom where students are challenged to reach their full potential.
I’m looking forward to a year of fun, learning and building healthy relationships with students and parents.
