I Often Contradict Myself

I often contradict myself.
Oh no, I never do.
I argue with me day and night.
That simply isn’t true.

Oh yes it is. Oh no it's not.
I do this all day long.
Oh no I don't. Oh yes I do.
That's right. No way! It's wrong.

I'm really quite agreeable.
I argue night and day.
I love to be around myself.
I wish I'd go away.

So if you see me arguing,
it's certain that you won't.
I like to contradict myself.
I promise you I don't.

Week Five - Reflect on St Bernardine's Day

St Bernardine's Day was a lot of fun. Ask your child about the day. The retell of an experience helps them to improve their comprehension. If they need prompting here is a brief outline of the day.

1. Mass  - Where was it? Which class led it? Which adult took charge? What did you notice about how it was set up?

2. Rotational Activities - How were these organised? Explain what you liked about them. Were they connected to the curriculum?

3. Afternoon show - What did you like about it? What sort of participation did the performer want?
Can you connect your learning from last term to any of the performance? Tell me about that connection?
